VACCINATION AGAINST COVID-19 AMONG MINORS, CARRIES ON AT JRBGH

The Covid-19 Vaccination Rollout for 12 to 17-year-olds in Cagayan de Oro City kicked off last October 29, 2021 at J.R. Borja General Hospital and continues

to serve the community twice a week.

This vaccination rollout prioritizes those minors with existing medical conditions such as Chronic Respiratory Disease, Tuberculosis, Obesity, and HIV infection.

Those who have pre-registered and received a text message from the City Health Office will be accommodated with the vaccine.

In order to be vaccinated in that age group, medical clearance from a doctor must be presented and must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. Those minors whose parents won't be able to accompany them must be with a guardian with a signed authorization letter from a parent.

The next schedule of vaccination at JRBGH will be on November 11 and 12, 2021.
