JRBGH COVID WARD NOW OPEN TO PATIENT ADMISSION
Opened last September 8, the Covid-19 ward located on the 4th floor of the Pimentel building within the JR Borja General Hospital has started receiving Covid-19 patients.
This was announced and personally visited by Mayor Oscar Moreno after Dr. Ramon Moreno, the Chief of Hospital at JRBGH, that the Covid ward will now be available. It is learned that the facility can accommodate at least 40 patients who test positive of the virus.
Mayor Moreno was very grateful for the swift and sincere action of Dr. Moreno towards the completion of the Covid Ward. Although JRBGH is not a Covid referral hospital, it still accepts patients infected with the virus, whether they are residents or coming from other provinces and regions.
The Covid ward is just part of Mayor Moreno’s administration’s efforts to care for and provide accurate health services to Covid-19 patients.
